Work: I am in the process of opening a furniture store in Jacksonville, FL. This is the industry in which I earned my business chops. I moved away from it for a few years but the calling was there to re-enter… with a fresh outlook and new ideas. If you live in the area, I’d love to have you stop by.

Projects: I am doing my best to focus exclusively on opening the furniture store. However, that comes with other certain projects that allow me to use my hands. Projects like breaking down pallets to have “pallet wall” material, crafting some unique art pieces (empty picture frames, end table accents, etc.) that can be put on display at the store.

Favorite Quote: “No one cruises along without problems… It isn’t easy to keep on fighting when others are quitting around you or keep fighting when your opponent seems to be growing stronger while you seem to be getting weaker. It isn’t easy to do good work when no one seems to care. It isn’t easy to go full speed, 100%, when you are bothered by ‘aches and pains and muscle sprains.’ It isn’t easy to rise up when you are down. However, the facts of life are that nothing, I mean nothing, comes easy. You only get what you earn — there isn’t such a thing as ‘something for nothing.’ When you sincerely realize this, then and only then will you begin to whip your adversities.”
